Experience
· One or more years of web design experience.
· Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript required.
· Knowledge of ASP, XML, XSLT, SOAP, Web Services, AJAX, PHP, Cold Fusion, and other related technologies is beneficial.
· Familiar with software products such as Macromedia Dream weaver, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Fireworks, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe Photoshop, or other tools used to create and edit websites and graphics.
· Experience with other common development technologies like .NET (C#/VB), C++, Visual Basic, and SQL Server is beneficial.
· Ability to communicate to co-workers and clients at technical and non-technical levels.
· Ability to effectively utilize MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
· Ability to operate copier, fax, phone, and other office equipment as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements
Education
·Bachelor degree in Multimedia/Web Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or E-Commerce.
· Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
Overview
The Web Developer position is a technical position with responsibilities in graphic design and web development. The Web Developer will design and produce high quality websites as the front-end for INFOEXPERTS Solutions client web solutions within designated timeframe which adheres to INFOEXPERTS Solutions software development guidelines and standards. Incumbent will successfully meet or exceed business unit goals while maintaining quality standards, controlling expenses, and following company and business unit directives and practices.
Essential Functions
1. Produce creative, professional, and appealing web graphics and layouts.
2. Design and develop functionally sound and intuitive user interfaces.
3. Participate in the requirements, design, coding, review, and testing phases of the web development process.
4. Produce web pages and code that support multiple internet browsers and adheres to accepted standards as set by the World Wide Web consortium and similar organizations.
5. Gather requirements from customers and translate into viable solutions.
6. Implement and install web solutions at client sites compatible with their existing infrastructure.
7. Promote products and services to clients through direct contact and other mediums.
8. Participate in the development and design of programs utilizing . NET (C#/VB), C++, Visual Basic, or SQL Server in a Windows 2000 environment.
9. Work with Product Manager on future development projects.
10. Develop and maintain technical competencies as defined by departmental management.
11. Provide services in a professional manner, adhering to all INFOEXPERTS Solutions standards as identified in the Employee Handbook, the performance evaluation system, and other company and departmental programs and policies.
12. Identify, meet and/or exceed client expectations within defined parameters related to delivery of services, quality, revenue, and sales goals.
13. It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management, and based on the needs of the business.
14. Develop and maintain technical competencies as defined by departmental management.
