JOB DESCRIPTION
• 7+ years of ETL design, development, and configuration management experience in Informatica 8.1 or above.
• Should have developed several reusable transformations and mapplets.
• Should have developed Slowly Changing Dimension Mappings of type I, II and III.
• Should have experience in Debugging and Performance Tuning of targets, sources, mappings and sessions.
• Should have extensive experience in implementation of Data Cleanup procedures, transformations, Scripts, Stored Procedures and execution of test plans for loading the data successfully into the targets.
• Experience in defining a suitable architecture for data integration from multiple, disparate data sources (including legacy systems, relational databases, flat files, message queues, spreadsheets, etc.
• Experience in UNIX platform is must.
• Experience in data analysis, data processing and customer data management
• Ability to handle large data sets, knowledge of data integration, validation and processing methodologies
• Ability to work with business users, capture business requirements and translate them into component/ process/ solution specifications / design
• Experience working with Teradata Platform
• Experience using job scheduler/process automation tools
• Leading the Teams

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participates in coding, testing and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software.
• Analyzes complex technical and/or Level 2 system problems; designs and implements effective solutions.
• Works with technical staff and business to understand problems with software and develops specifications for improvements and enhancements.
• Responsible for developing, testing, implementing, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to system performance, ETL applications, and data integrity.
• Responsible for quality assurance review.
• Manage scheduling, support, tools and maintenance of integration processes
Interaction and collaboration with other team members, business users, software vendors
