oMust have had extensive hands-on experience in C programming oDevelopment experience on a RTOS (VxWorks, Linux, Nucleus) based network switching / routing platform essential oMust have worked on at least one of the following: 1.Layer 2 LAN protocols like MSTP,RSTP,PVST,LACP,VRRP 2. Layer 3 protocols like RIP, OSPF, BGP, Multicast routing - PIM-SM, PIM-DM,DVMRP, IPv6 3.Layer 4 - 7 protocol optimization 4.MPLS, FIPS 5.High Availability Features 6.Management plane - SNMP, web server, CLI 7.Development of networking ASIC drivers L2/L3 Protocol Testing: oManual testing / automation experience on network switching / routing platform essential oMust have worked on at least one of the following: 1.L2 Protocols like STP,RSTP,MSTP,VRRP,802.1X, LLDP,LAG, LACP 2.L3 Protocols like RIP, OSPF, ISIS & BGP 3.Multicast Protocols - IGMP, PIM-SM, PIM-DM, Multi-VRF, MSDP, IPV6 Multicast 4.IPV6 - RIPng, OSPFv3, ISIS, BGP4+ 5.MPLS - LDP, MPLS-TE, IPoMPLS 6.Network Test tools like Spirent Test Center , IXIA, Smartbits
