TESCO Hindustan Service Centre has Scheduled event in Hyderabad on 30th August 2008. Please send in your resumes by 26th August 2008 for the following skill. 4-8 years of experience in Oracle APPS DBA / SQL DBA.
SQL- DBA
4 - 8 Years of relevant experience
Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server Database administration in various versions SQL 7/2000/2005.
Should have worked extensively on designing, building & supporting High Availability solutions on SQL Server.
Should have worked on capacity planning and database sizing.
Desirable: Knowledge on migration of databases like Sybase to SQL 2005 using SSMA or other utilities.
Exposure to DB administration on Oracle/Sybase is a plus

Oracle APPS DBA would design/build and support the Oracle 11i Financials environment used by various business functions with in TESCO .Work closely with various application teams/business functions on a day to day basis for supporting the Oracle Applications tier and the database tier. Also identify the specific improvements on the database/applications/concurrent manager front which would benefit the overall applications/projects.Over 6 years of exposure to Oracle APPS administration in various versions 11.x on IBM AIX platform
Should have worked extensively on designing, building & supporting High Availability solutions on Knowledge on specific functional modules like AP,AR etc APPS tier as well as DB Tier. Also should have worked on capacity planning and database sizing.
